<title>Appaloosa</title>
<p>The Appaloosa<fnote>The name comes from "Palouse horse" in reference
to the Palouse River in Northern Idaho.</fnote> are rugged horses
originally breed by the <kw>Nez-Perce</kw> tribe in the US Northwest.</p>
